Your safety is paramount. We are very strict and have a zero tolerance policy regarding your code of conduct during a public tour.
The Atlantis Dunes are dynamic and change shape intra day, it requires expert local knowledge to chose a safe route, hence we don’t allow free driving. Donuts, overtaking manoeuvres and ascending / descending on dunes are not permitted in the interest of your well being.
Our guides are locals and know how to navigate on unusual terrain and you must follow their instructions at all times.
Non-compliance will result in cessation of the activity without refund and you will be required to walk back to the entrance of the nature reserve.
Yes you can. These bikes are very easy to ride due to the fact that it is fully automatic. Everyone receives a bike familiarisation and clear instructions before you set off on your adventure. No drivers licence required, we’re riding on private property.
We have fully automatic Kawasaki 300ccm water cooled quad bikes. Our bikes are extremely user friendly and well balanced for use on the Sand Dunes. They provide plenty of power and comfort to do all that we need to do as part of the touring experience that we offer.
If you’re a ‘first timer’ don’t be worried as we cater to the riding experience and ability of everyone. The bike has an automatic thumb throttle action, so you’ll be riding the dunes like an expert at no time.
Each activity has a set time period, although most are an hour long and we do our best to make sure that our clients get as much riding time out as possible.
Granted, activity time can be affected by clients not showing up on time. So please be aware that we might have to leave you behind should this be the case. So please don’t be late. Every tour commences with a 10 minute bike familiarization and safety briefing.

When pre-booking, we ask for full payment to secure your booking. If for any reason you can’t make it and give us a full 24hrs notice, we’ll hold onto a credit in your name, for the amount of your deposit, ready for you to take advantage of at a later time!
Yes we sell gift cards for our quad bike tours. These gift cards can be given to friends, family or to employees as incentives.

We’re happy to try and change your tour time if you’re running late (if our day is not already fully booked). We are also happy to hold a credit in your name if you give us a full 24 hours notice that you cannot make it.
But, there is not much we can do for people who simply change their mind at the last minute, sorry.
NO REFUND FOR A NO SHOW!
If your tour leaves without you, we are unable to issue you a refund. But we will make every effort to accommodate you on a later tour for that day (if we are not fully booked for that day)
So please be sure of your tour time and get all affairs in order to get along and enjoy your adventure.
Yes, we do! We tend to think it’s even more fun in the wet. Tours may be cancelled in extreme weather. If your tour is cancelled, we will contact you to make another arrangement. Saying that, if we cancel and you can’t make another time, we’ll offer you a full refund!
