Shaded, stylish and designed for comfort, Base Camp becomes the central hub for your entire experience — giving guests somewhere to relax, socialise, eat and enjoy the incredible dune surroundings between adventures.
Base Camp creates an inspiring, distraction-free environment for networking, relaxed strategy conversations and high-energy team bonding. Guests can move between activities and downtime naturally, without the day feeling dictated by a rigid schedule.
Not everyone needs to tackle every activity. While the thrill-seekers head out onto the dunes, grandparents, younger children and guests who prefer to relax can remain comfortably at Base Camp, enjoy the food and still be right in the middle of the experience.
Forget rigid activity rotations. For one hour, our quad bikes operate a continuous scenic loop through the Atlantis Dunes, returning to Base Camp approximately every 15 minutes.
Guests can hop on for an adrenaline-filled ride through the dunes and return directly to camp, creating a flexible experience that allows the group to enjoy the adventure at its own pace.

Grab a board and experience the white sand slopes throughout your time at Base Camp. Guests can sandboard at their own pace, with equipment provided and instructors nearby to help first-timers get started and keep the fun flowing.

Late Arrivals
Big groups don’t always arrive at the same time — and that’s okay.
Your Base Camp experience will begin at the agreed starting time so guests who arrive on time can get straight into the adventure.
If members of your group arrive late, there’s no need to delay everyone else. Once they arrive and complete the required safety briefing, we’ll transfer them to Base Camp where they can simply join the experience already in progress.
With quad bikes returning to Base Camp approximately every 15 minutes, free-flowing sandboarding and plenty of space to relax, eat and socialise, the experience is designed to make it easy for guests to join in.
For corporate teams and larger groups, this means 20, 30 or 40 people don’t have to arrive at exactly the same minute for the day to work.
We still recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time wherever possible so you can enjoy the full experience.
