BREATHLESS NOMAD BOOKING CONDITIONS
All clients, please be aware, you hereby participate on our activities and tours at your own risk.
Please be there at least 15 minutes before the time for your safety briefing.
Please ask for either Lezaan or Jodray from Breathless Nomad.
Our tours depart on the hour mark. Non-private tours do not wait for late arrivals (similar to a train 
). If you miss your tour we will try to add you to the next group (subject to availability) at a different time or you will get the remaining time of the tour you initially selected or, If we are sold out for the day, we will add you to the next available date which triggers a R800 rebooking fee. It is solely at our discretion which of these three options will be declared as it depends on guide, escort and ticket availability.
Rest assured we will try our utmost to provide an amicable alternative.
Your safety is paramount. We are very strict and have a zero tolerance policy regarding your code of conduct during a public tour.
The Atlantis Dunes are dynamic and change shape intra day, it requires expert local knowledge to chose a safe route, hence we don’t allow free driving. Donuts, overtaking manoeuvres and ascending / descending on dunes are not permitted in the interest of your well being.
Our guides are locals and know how to navigate on unusual terrain and you must follow their instructions at all times.
Non-compliance will result in cessation of the activity without refund and you will be required to walk back to the entrance of the nature reserve.
Adventure activities, by definition, expose us to the forces of nature including but not limited to rain, wind and sunshine. We believe accepting the risk of unusual conditions is part and parcel of adventure which is why we operate in all weather conditions.
It is solely at Breathless Nomad’s discretion to cancel or abort a tour due to weather.
We recommend you arrange for adequate travel insurance.
You will participate in a public tour with fellow adventurers who may have inferior skills than you which can result in slower than average speed and disruptions due to drivers getting stuck in the sand.
We appeal for your understanding that our guides have to manage the expectations of all participants and this inevitably requires your willingness to compromise.
There will be several photo stops during the ride to be certain everybody will leave with precious mementos.
These stops are imperative and essential to allow the engines to cool down to avoid overheating and ascertain a smooth ride during the entire tour.
Should you have specific and unique ideas about the route, the speed, the photo stops etc, pls consider a private tour where you can discuss your wants with us well in advance.
The quad biking and Sandboarding combo experience is structured as follows:
You will, in Breathless Nomad’s option, either start the day with a 1hr Quad Biking ride followed by a 1hr Sandboarding activity, or vice-versa.
These two activities will not happen simultaneously and you will not have a quad bike by your side during the Sandboarding. It is not possible to cut short the Sandboarding in lieu of extended quad biking time.
You will have to walk from the parking area to the Sandboarding location, ascend the dunes without motorised assistance and walk back to the parking area when you are finished. Sandboarding is a true adventure activity and requires a decent fitness level.
INSURANCE
Breathless Nomad does not provide personal travel or health insurance cover for clients. Breathless Nomad cannot be held liable for the loss, theft or damage to client’s luggage, hand luggage or personal effects. Breathless Nomad, or its employees and agents can not and will not be held responsible for any accident, injury, illness, death, loss or delay from any cause whatsoever sustained or suffered by any person during matters related to accommodating, transporting, sightseeing, and activities of any means whilst on our tour. Clients are advised to have their own travel and health insurance / cover in place to cover them and their belongings for the duration of their stay / tour and all associated arrangements and costs. Enquire from your insurer what exactly you are insured for in terms of adventure, high-risk activities and travel in Southern Africa. It is up to the client to ensure that they have adequate cover in place ahead of any activity / tour.
PERSONAL INJURY
We do not accept any responsibility if you or anyone in your party suffer death, illness or injury while on any of our tours or activities or during the duration of any package or tour booked with Breathless Nomad and associated suppliers. You join our activities/tours at your own risk. We in no way accept any responsibility for any medical or other costs incurred as a result of death, illness or injury or otherwise sustained while on any of our activities/tours / or during the duration of any package or tour booked with Breathless Nomad and associated suppliers. Clients should ensure that they are adequately insured and enquire from your insurer to check what exactly you are insured for in terms of adventure or high-risk Activities / Tours.
DAMAGE TO QUAD BIKES
You, the client, are also responsible for the quad bike you ride on. Should you damage the quad bike in any way, shape or form (damage that was not there prior to the departure of your tour) you will be held responsible for those damages. You, the client will then pay for those damages (as determined by the tour guide on duty) before you leave the activity site. Breathless Nomad will then provide invoices of replacement parts and labour cost to repair the quad bike. Any money due to the clients, will be paid back to them within 5 working days.
The owners/investors/stakeholders and management of Breathless Nomad cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of any property of the clients.
All clients will be required to sign an indemnity form before our Quad biking tour takes place.
100% Upfront deposit secures your booking.
Should you cancel your tour, within 24hours of confirmed activity date, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
Should you, the client, feel the weather is not suitable for the activity on the day of your booking, it is your responsibility to cancel or reschedule the tour 24 hours prior to the time of activity date. (so please monitor weather forecasts)
Should Breathless Nomad deem the weather to be too severe and cancel an activity and you cannot reschedule you will receive a 100% refund.
Clients may not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If you arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol your tour will be forfeited and you will not be refunded.
Children younger than 12 years old will not be allowed to ride on their own.
If a vehicle transfer is booked via Breathless Nomad and adverse weather conditions result in the cancellation of your Quad biking Tour there will be no refunds on vehicle transfers.
All Visa/MasterCard transactions will have a 4 % handling fee added to them and all AMEX 5% handling fee (absorbed by you, the client).

Breathless Nomad is a business in the activity industry, the provision of services by Breathless Nomad is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Breathless Nomad goes to every endeavor to rebook/reschedule the service. If that is not possible, it will be considered to refund the client soon as possible.
